Hokkaido Wines owns 447ha estste and processes 2,500t of grapes annually in Hokkaido, where it has perfect environment for genuine wine winemaking.
Fermentation conducted by using stainless steel tank and enamel container, following 7 days maceration at 25-30°C.
Earthy character with excellent presence of tannin yet comfortable acidity presents the textual flavour created by Japanese cool climate. Starting with dark berry character such as blackcurrant followed by touch of dried herb and spicy character – white pepper to palate.
